FINDLAY, OHIO — Hercules Tire & Rubber Co. has added four load-range E sizes to its Ironman All Country M/T and two sizes to its Hercules Terra Trac AT III premium all-terrain light truck tire lines.
The Ironman All Country M/T is an "incredibly durable and highly versatile tire at an entry-level position," said Jedd Emans, vice president of marketing for Hercules Tires.
The All Country M/T size additions are:
- 37X12.50R20/10 126Q;
- 37X13.50R20/10 127Q;
- 35X12.50R22/10 117Q; and
- 37X13.50R22/10 123Q.
According to Hercules, the Ironman All Country M/T features a groove design that enhances durability by protecting against stone drilling and puncture; shoulder blocks that shovel away mud and silt and enhance traction on off-road surfaces ; a staggered buttress design that increases off-road capability and guards against high sidewall cuts and abrasions; and a void ratio that promotes self-cleaning in muddy conditions.
Hercules said the tire delivers outstanding off-road traction in adverse conditions, excellent durability in extended off-road use and a studdable tread for extra bite.
Ironman is an associate brand of Hercules Tires that includes passenger, light truck and medium truck lines.
The new Terra Trac AT III offerings are sizes LT265/70R18/10 124/121S OWL and LT265/60R20/10 121/118R BSW.
The Terra Trac AT II features heavy siping for longer wear resistance and improved traction, Hercules said in a statement, adding that the tire is made with the firm's exclusive silica-infused AT-C compound. It comes with a 60,000-mile warranty, road-hazard protection — which promises free replacement for two years or for the first 50 percent of tread life — and a 30-day "Trust Our Ride" test drive.
The tires will be available in the U.S. and Canada, through American Tire Distributors Inc. and National Tire Distributors, respectively, as well as through Hercules Tire International.
