BETHESDA, Md. — Women in Auto Care is accepting nominations for its Automotive Communications Awards, which honor advertising and marketing efforts of companies and agencies that provide automotive information to consumers and professionals.
"The Automotive Communication Awards are the automotive aftermarket industry awards recognizing the creative marketing efforts put forth by our talented manufacturers, vehicle service centers and industry associations," Women in Auto Care President Tammy Tecklenburg said in a statement.
With help from auto care industry and marketing experts, Women in Auto Care will select the winners of the awards. They will be notified in October and the awards will be presented during the Women in Auto Care's annual news conference and reception Oct. 31 at the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas on Oct. 31.
"It is interesting to see how technology impacts our marketing communications. As we spend less time with TV commercials and more time on social media, our creative efforts must evolve as well. I cannot wait to see what remarkable things the industry has in store for us this year."
Entry forms are additional details about the award are available online at womeninautocare.org/awards. No entries will be taken after Sept. 8.
