Conti, Hankook running summer promotions

AKRON — Continental Tire the Americas and Hankook Tire America Corp. are running consumer promotion offers this summer on various passenger and light truck tire lines.

Conti's promotion, running through Aug. 31, offers consumers a $70 VISA prepaid card on the purchase of four qualifying Continental-brand passenger or light truck tires, while Hankook's "Great Hit" deal offers discounts of up $100 on the purchase of four qualifying tires through Sept. 30.

Conti's deal covers purchases of tires from its ExtremeContact DWS06, PureContact and TrueContact passenger lines and TerrainContact A/T light truck line.

To be eligible for the promotion, tires must be purchased in a single transaction, Conti said. The off is valid in the 48 contiguous continental U.S. states and Washington D.C.

Hankook's mail-in summer rebate promotion is valid on eight lines:

  • Ventus V12 evo2 UHP and Dynapro HP2 all-season light truck/SUV touring tire— $100 rebate;
  • Ventus S1 noble2 all-season UHP tire — $80 rebate;
  • Kinergy GT all-season grand touring and Dynapro MT light truck/SUV tire — $70 rebate;
  • Dynapro AT-M on-/off-road tire — $60 rebate; and
  • Dynapro HT all-season light truck/SUV and Optimo H727 all-season premium touring tire— $50 rebate.

The Great Hit promotion is a followup to the "Great Catch" promo Hankook ran last summer, the firm said, and is expanded to eight lines with the addition of the Dynapro MT as an eligible possibility.
