Sentury releases Landsail 4-Seasons radial

MIAMI — Sentury Tire Americas has introduced an all-weather version of its Landsail brand, the Landsail 4-Seasons radial.

Sentury said the tire, which comes with a 30,000-mile limited treadwear warranty, carries the U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association's mountain/snowflake symbol designation, which means the tread design, compound and depth meets higher winter performance requirements for harsh driving conditions.

The tire comes in 20 sizes to fit "the most popular vehicles on the road today," said Max Wee, executive vice president for Sentury Tire Americas.

"The 4-Seasons is a tire designed for the consumer who wants the convenience of four-season driving without the need to switch over to winter tires," Mr. Wee said.

Sentury said the tire offers a computer-optimized tread pattern pitch that reduces road noise; three wide, longitudinal drainage grooves to channel water out from under the tire for more control in rain and snow; and a cross pattern tread designed to enhance traction and grip on winter roads.

Sentury said the larger outside block design pattern increases rigidity for enhanced control and performance.
