CHICAGO — A number of key auto aftermarket suppliers, including NAPA Auto Care and Federal Mogul Garage Guru, will be demonstrating their respective training programs during the upcoming NACE Automechanika Chicago trade show, running July 26-29.
NAPA AutoCare is bringing its training arm to the expo, hosting a regional conference and presenting training undercar and underhood services in the classroom, as well as exhibiting at booth No. 2837 at Chicago's McCormick Place West.
NAPA AutoCare General Manager Jason Rainey said his business will host a regional conference during the event along with providing free training for its partners and other interested parties.
"Educating technicians, service writers and others is increasingly important, and this is a wonderful option for us to participate in," he said.
Federal-Mogul Garage Gurus will provide six training classes and have two of its Garage Gurus vans to the show floor, at booth No. 2901.
Brent Berman, director, training and consumer experience, Federal-Mogul Motorparts, said, "The six training courses…bring to the forefront the important issues technicians want to learn about and provide solutions to the problems they are facing daily in their repair shops."
Tenneco Inc. will have its Tenneco Experience mobile interactive product and technology on display, at booth No. 2757, including the firm's ride performance technologies, control and brake solutions and exhaust system offerings.
In addition, I-CAR — the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair — will host classroom training options as well as demonstrations in partnership with key suppliers on the I-CAR Stage, at booth No. 1563.
NACE Automechanika Chicago claims to be the largest U.S. trade show dedicated to technical- and management-related training for automotive collision and service repair shops.
The 2017 expo will feature more than 400 exhibitors from around the world, providing training classes, show floor demonstrations, celebrity appearances and more
