K&M promotes Gossard, Langhals

    DELPHOS, Ohio — K&M Tire Inc. is promoting Cheryl Gossard to president and named founder Ken Langhals CEO, a new position. Both moves are effective Jan. 1, 2018.

    Mr. Langhals, who founded the company in 1970, currently serves as president, and Ms. Gossard, Mr. Langhals' daughter, is vice president.

    Mr. Langhals said he is excited about the continued growth and the leadership focus that his daughter provides the organization. She has more than 20 years of experience at K&M, with increasing levels of responsibility.

    "Cheryl has been a strong contributor in many areas of the company, driving change and helping us grow the business." Mr. Langhals said. "She has proven that she is an outstanding leader supporting our company vision, mission and values."

    The company said in the new organizational structure, Mr. Langhals will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, vision and financial well-being of the company, while Ms. Gossard will be responsible for the daily business operations and the implementation of all corporate goals.

    K&M Tire operates 22 distribution centers and employs more than 500, distributing numerous tire brands along with a tools and equipment. The distributor also manages two dealer marketing programs, Mr. Tire and Big 3 Tire.
