DAYTON, Ohio — Forgeline Motorsports L.L.C. is adding a pair of five-spoke wheels for club racing and autocross competition use along with launching a Heritage Series Wheel line targeted at muscle car owners.

The three-piece GF3 and GF3 open lug wheels are targeted at drivers competing in a variety of club racing venues, Forgeline said, including Goodguys Autocross, OPTIMA Search for the Ultimate Street Car Challenge series, SCCA CAM Challenge Autocross, as well as well as NASA, SCCA Club and Porsche and BMW Club racing.

The competition-tested wheels are available with a stepped lip in 18-, 19- and 20-inch sizes in a wide variety of widths and offsets, Forgeline said. Hidden ARP assembly hardware is used on both versions for a clean appearance and easier wheel cleaning.

Both wheels are produced using Forgeline's traditional forging method utilizing 6061-T6 aluminum with heat-treated rim shells, and both versions are available in fully customizable fitment and finish, including center-lock applications, the company said.

Made specifically to withstand the stresses of competitive driving, the wheels use I-beam spoke technology to minimize weight while adding strength and rigidity, Forgeline said.

With styling references borrowed from the Minilite Trans Am wheels of the late 1960s and early '70s, the forged three-piece ML3 Heritage wheel features 10 semi-rounded soft-sided spokes for a retro look that is combined with Forgeline's lightweight engineering and manufacturing techniques.

It is available in both deep and shallow concave profiles in a wide range of sizes, including 18, 19, and 20-inch rim diameters.

"At Forgeline, we work very hard to create new wheel designs that meet the styles and applications that our customers are looking for," Forgeline Motorsports President Dave Schardt said.

"We believe our ML3 will become very popular within the pro touring market as well as with muscle car owners."

Machined from 6061-T6 forged aluminum, the ML3 Heritage Series Wheel has extreme stiffness and fatigue strength with a 1700-lb. street-tire load rating per wheel. In addition to the standard brushed aluminum, the ML3 is offered in several finish options that will add flair to any popular muscle car.

The ML3 series is built with Forgeline's forged three-piece construction using the company's computer-simulated FEA design process, which ensures high quality and a strength-to-weight ratio that is 40-percent stronger than cast aluminum.

All Forgeline wheels are available through a nationwide network of retail partners and are backed by state-of-the-art manufacturing processes and industry-leading customer service.
