NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Hankook Tire America Corp. has renewed its commitment to DAV (Disabled American Veterans), donating $150,000 to the group that provides free services to veterans of all generations to help support DAV's Mobile Service Office (MSO) program.
Separately, Hankook launched a "Hankook Heroes" program to help honor America's veterans.
"A significant percentage of Hankook Tire America employees are U.S. military veterans and, as we continue to expand our footprint in the United States with the opening of our first U.S. plant in Clarksville, Tenn., we value our veteran community more than ever," said Hee Se Ahn, Hankook Tire America president.
This is Hankook's third year of working with DAV.
"Our Hankook Heroes recognition program is another way we are honoring those who have given so much to this country."
