NASHVILLE — Hankook Tire America Corp. recently joined with the Nashville-area United Way to collect items that would help impoverished mothers and their children.
Employees from the Nashville headquarters of Hankook Tire America contributed more than 1,000 items to the drive, according to Hankook. These included diapers, socks, baby lotion, wipes and other essential items for mothers of infants.
"We want members of the community to know we are here for them," said Hankook Tire America President Hee-Se Ahn.
Hankook Tire America moved its headquarters from Wayne, N.J., to Nashville in 2016. Hankook's first U.S. manufacturing facility is scheduled to open this year in Clarksville, Tenn.
