FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. — Akebono Brake Corp. has launched a “Spring Brake Rewards” offer that provides incentives for professional technicians who install Akebono Ultra-Premium ceramic disc brake pads.

Technicians can start accruing reward points toward gifts from online retailers with the installation of three sets of Akebono Pro-ACT, EURO and Performance Ultra-Premium ceramic brake pads. The promotion runs through May 31.

"The Spring Brake Rewards program recognizes the hardworking teams that deliver superior products and service to their customers every day," said Ken Selinger, director of Akebono aftermarket sales and marketing.

"This promotion is Akebono's way of saying 'thank you' as well as creating enthusiasm for high-quality products."

Technicians can register online and create an account at AkebonoPromo.com. Once an account is created, claims are submitted by entering the serial number on each pad kit installed and by selecting the corresponding part number.

Three sets installed is worth $5; 10 sets, $20; and 18 sets, $40. There are no limits to the amount of rewards that can be accrued.

Technicians can redeem their accrued reward points as they reach any multiple of three, 10 or 18 kits installed. Upon redemption, participants select the desired virtual gift code(s) from a number of online retailers.

The Spring Brake Rewards program is open to professional technicians in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and several Central and South American countries.
