ASA Automotive names Belanski president

MERRIMACK, N.H. — ASA Automotive Systems Inc. has promoted Marc Belanski, formerly vice president, enterprise operations, to succeed the retiring Ken Halle as president of the software development company.

In addition, ASA promoted Dave Vogel, currently vice president of sales and general manager of the ASA office in Meridian, Idaho, to executive vice president. Mr. Vogel also will serve as president of the TireMaster business unit, reporting to Mr. Belanski.

Mr. Belanski has a diverse automotive background that encompasses product development, manufacturing, brand marketing and sales, ASA said. Prior to joining ASA Automotive, he worked in private equity, where he was an integration manager for recently acquired companies as well as an operating executive, growing several tech companies in their investment portfolio.

Mr. Halle retired recently after nearly 30 years with the Merrimack-based developer of software to independent tire dealers and automotive service providers, including the past seven as president.

Mr. Vogel has been with ASA Automotive Systems for 14 years. Prior to joining ASA in 2003, he spent nine years with Goodyear and six years with an independent, 44-location business in the northwest. He has a degree in business management from Boise State University.
