Marangoni unit receives supplier award

MOOSBURG, Germany — Wenzel Industrie G.m.b.H., part of Marangoni Industrial Tyres S.r.l., has received a supplier award from Jungheinrich A.G.

Wenzel Industrie, which handles sales of industrial tires in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Denmark,  won the award in the FG Components category, along with ZF Friedrichshafen A.G.

The ceremony was held April 6 at Jungheinrich's plant in Upper Bavaria, Germany.

Jungheinrich manufactures materials-handling equipment and also offers warehousing and material flow engineering services as well as warehousing technology.

"The superior teamwork of all Marangoni areas was the main reason the supply chain process was optimized, thereby ensuring 100-percent adherence to delivery dates for Jungheinrich A.G., together with the high product quality of the Marangoni industrial tires," said Wilhelm M. Wendel, general Manager of Wenzel Industrie, who accepted the award

Both criteria were cited in support of the award win.

Marangoni Industrial Tyres produces industrial tires at factories in Italy and Sri Lanka.
