    Esmerelda Bernal

Esmerelda Bernal is the Latin America team's new sales and business development manager. Alliance Tire Group (ATG), parent firm of ATA, said Ms. Bernal has “extensive experience in customs, international business and the tire industry,” and brings to the job academic credentials from Florida International University, Universidad La Gran Colombia and Harvard.

    Holly Gillette

Holly Gillette has been named ATA's controller and pricing manager for its Latin America team. She is a forensic accountant who “brings deep analytical skills, supervisory experience, as well as communications abilities” to the company, which noted Ms. Gillette developed teaching software classes. A native of the Boston area, she earned her masters' degree in accounting at University of Massachusetts Boston.

“Our growth in Latin America is providing us with opportunities to build our team with talented new members like Esmerelda and Holly,” said Dhaval Nanavati, president of ATA's Latin America unit. “These women bring the business skills, experience and enthusiasm to help us continue to grow our presence in some of the most exciting agricultural and OTR markets in the world.”

Ms. Gillette will be based at ATA's headquarters in Wakefield while Ms. Bernal will cover Central and South America for the tire maker from the Miami area.

ATG, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tokyo-based Yokohama Rubber Co., markets off-road and farm tires under its Alliance, Galaxy and Primex brands.
