Amsoil Inc. has introduced Amsoil DOT 3 & 4 Synthetic Brake Fluid, Dominator DOT 4 Synthetic Racing Brake Fluid and Amsoil Brake & Parts Cleaner to its product portfolio.

SUPERIOR, Wis. — Amsoil Inc. has introduced Amsoil DOT 3 & 4 Synthetic Brake Fluid, Dominator DOT 4 Synthetic Racing Brake Fluid and Amsoil Brake & Parts Cleaner to its product portfolio.

The Amsoil DOT 3 & 4 Synthetic Brake Fluid is a high-response fluid for cold-weather performance and ABS and traction-control responsiveness, the company said. The fluid is designed to extend the life of essential components, including calipers, wheel cylinders, seals, lines, master cylinders and ABS control valves.

The fluid is a DOT 5.1 product that meets and exceeds the specifications of DOT 3 and DOT 4 formulations, providing protection against water contamination, the company said. The product is recommended for use in passenger car/light truck and non-racing powersports applications.

Amsoil Dominator DOT 4 brake fluid is formulated for intense racing applications and features the ultra-high boiling points required during extreme racing conditions, the company said.

Amsoil Brake & Parts Cleaner is a professional-strength product that helps remove oil, grease, brake fluid and other contaminants from brake parts and automotive components.

The cleaner doesn't leave residue, helping to reduce or eliminate brake squeal and chatter, the company said. The cleaner has a quick-drying, chlorinated formulation.

This product is unavailable in California or New Jersey, the company noted.
