CINCINNATI — Tire Discounters Inc. has opened a retail store in Brownsboro, Ky., adding to the Cincinnati-based dealership's network of 100-plus stores in five states.
The new store in Brownsboro is Tire Discounters' 10th in the great Louisville, Ky., metro area.
Tire Discounters did not disclose its investment in opening the new stores, both of which span 7,900 square feet and have eight service bays. They each will employ 15 when fully staffed, the dealership said.
The Brownsboro store, near the I-71/I-265 interchange, is the dealership's third in this area northeast of downtown Louisville.
Tire Discounters operates stores in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee and Georgia. The company is considered the the 10th largest independent tire dealership in the U.S., based on total outlets, according to Tire Business' latest ranking.
Separately, the dealership reported it recently earned a pair of "Best of Cincinnati" awards — best tire store and best auto repair service store — from CityBeat magazine.
"We're incredibly thankful to our loyal customers for selecting us for these celebrated awards," said Jamie Ward, president and chief operating officer.
"We are dedicated to providing unmatched customer service every single day and are so pleased that customers trust us to perform exceptional work on their vehicles — and took the time to vote."
