PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — TBC Corp. opened eight NTB Tire & Service Centers in six states in recent weeks, including five greenfield locations.
The new stores are in Decatur, Ala.; Marietta, Ga.; Dedham, Mass.; Cottage Grove, Minn.; Clover and Lexington, S.C.; and Chattanooga and Cleveland, Tenn.
These latest store openings are in addition to three stores that opened earlier in the year and extend the TBC retail network to 760-plus locations, operating under the NTB, Merchant's Tire & Auto and Tire Kingdom banners.
Each new store has eight service bays and averages 6,375 square feet in size. TBC said did not disclose how much it invested in the expansion.
Of stores recently opened, those in Chattanooga, Cleveland, Clover and Lexington are new store constructions on greenfield sites, while Dedham is a reopened NTB store that had been closed.
Of the other three: the Marietta store previously was a Bob McDonald Goodyear location; the Cottage Grove store previously was a Midas Muffler shop; and the Decatur store is located on a former commercial business site.
