NOKIA, Finland — Nokian Tyres P.L.C. has hired Hille Korhonen, an executive with 20-plus years in international consumer business and a Nokian board member since 2006, as its president and CEO, filling the posts vacated by Ari Lehtoranta late last year.
Ms. Korhonen will join Nokian June 1. She comes to the Finnish tire maker from fellow Finnish company Alko Oy, where she has been CEO of the alcoholic beverages retailer since 2013.

Interim President and CEO Andrei Pantioukhov will continue in that role until Ms. Korhonen assumes her duties as CEO, Nokian said. Thereafter he will continue as executive vice president of Nokian Tyres and as general manager, Russian operations.
Ms. Korhonen also brings experience as a member of the executive team of the consumer goods producer Fiskars Oyj Abp (2008–12) and Fiskars' Iittala Corp. subsidiary (2003–08).
