RICHMOND, Va. (March 10, 2017) — The Virginia Automotive Association (VAA) will host its annual Convention and Trade Expo April 28-30 at The Williamsburg Lodge in Colonial Williamsburg.
The weekend's program will feature a five-person panel discussion with the members of the Next Generation Advisory Council, which involves industry leaders age 40 and younger. Two peer-to-peer roundtables — one for owners and key managers, the other for counter sales and service managers, — also are planned.
Mike Scott, of Mike Scott and Associates, will be the convention's keynote speaker, delivering a presentation titled "Totally Accountable."
Additional event speakers include Audra Fordin, a fourth-generation shop owner and founder of "Women Auto Know," who will give a presentation titled "Person to Person Advisor Program" and Geoff Berman, of Automotive Training Institute, who will present "Mastering Your Phone Skills."
The weekend begins at the Golden Horseshoe with the VAA Open golf tournament Friday morning, and concludes with a banquet, Trade Expo and Reception on Saturday.
Deadline to register is March 27.
