YARMOUTH, Maine (March 6, 2017) — The New England Tire & Service Association (NETSA) will host its annual trade show and convention March 31-April 1 at the Foxwood Resort and Casino in Mashantucket, Conn.
The trade show is designed to connect shop owners and managers with the newest technology and products. The event also includes access to professional development seminars and guest speaker events as well as a luncheon and annual meeting, which features a keynote presentation from former New England Patriots quarterback and Boston sports announcer Scott Zolak.
Among the conference topics to be presented on April 1 will be:
• "How To Drive Personal Recommendations Using Social Media" — presented by Ben Moore of Optimized Social Media;
• "What You Don't Know Can Hurt You & Your Business — OSHA update" — presented by Paul Mangiafico of the Occupational Safety & Health Administration; and
• "Competing Against Internet-Based Tire Sale" — a panel of "distinguished" New England tire dealers, moderated by Barry Steinberg of Direct Tire.
The NETSA Hall of Fame awards dinner will be a highlight of the weekend's events as NETSA honors 2017 inductees Bob Katz of Nu Tread Tire, Ron Piscotta of Maple Tire Center, and Stratham Tire's Nelly Labonte.
