GUADALAJARA, Mexico (March 3, 2017) — Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. de Mexico S.A. de C.V. has relocated its Mexican offices to Guadalajara from El Salto.
The firm said the new location spans 22,000 square feet with two floors and houses the sales, marketing, customer service, logistics and finance teams that serve Cooper Tire's customers throughout Latin America.
Cooper said growth in Latin America is an important part of its strategic plan.
"With the opening of new markets in the region, the increase in tire production at our joint venture manufacturing facility near Guadalajara, expanded distribution of our products and alliances in South America, establishing this new office will help us to provide excellent service to the market and our dealers as we continue to grow in Latin America," Luis Ceneviz, managing director for both Cooper's Latin America and Europe tire operations, said.
Findlay, Ohio-based Cooper Tire specializes in the design, manufacture, marketing and sale of passenger car, light truck, medium truck, motorcycle and racing tires.
