CANCUN, Mexico (March 2, 2017) — OK Tire Stores Inc. has named OK Tire Prince Albert in Saskatchewan as "National Store of the Year" for 2016.
The dealership is one of more than 300 OK Tire retail locations in Canada and the first Prairies location to win the award at a national level, according to OK Tire. Each OK Tire store is locally owned and operated.
Store owners Colin and Lisa Fraser received the award during OK Tire's recent annual conference in Cancun, Mexico.
"Lisa and I are so proud to be able to take this award back to our community in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. With a population of 36,000, it is truly amazing to be recognized for this high distinction with so many other fantastic stores also nominated in much larger markets than ours across Canada," said Mr. Fraser.
The Frasers are active in their community and support numerous minor sports teams, according to OK Tire. Mr. Fraser was a member of the Kinsmen Club of Prince Albert, serving as president in his last year. He is also a current member of the board of directors for the Prince Albert Raiders and has been an elected member of OK Tire's board of directors for 13 years.
"Colin and Lisa Fraser are a couple who pride themselves on their store's top-quality staff," said OK Tire President and CEO Robert Downs. "As long-time members of the OK Tire family, their focus on customer service has been unparalleled."
