NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 24, 2017) — Shawn Denlein, Hankook Tire America Corp.'s senior vice president of sales for the past four-plus years, is leaving the company March 3.
Hankook noted in a brief message that Mr. Denlein "has been instrumental in leading the sales organization and continuing the growth of Hankook Tire." The company did not indicate what his plans might be after departing.
Hankook's sales in North America grew more than 25 percent during the four years Mr. Denlein was with the company, which last year relocated its headquarters to Nashville from Wayne, N.J., to be closer to the tire factory being built in Clarksville, Tenn.
Mr. Denlein joined Hankook in October 2012 after a four-year stay with Yokohama Tire Corp. as director of sales.
In all he has 21-plus years' experience in the tire industry.
