DAYTONA, Fla. (Feb. 24, 2017) — In the days leading up to the Daytona 500, NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Goodyear teamed up to surprise one military veteran with the blimp ride of a lifetime — one in which Mr. Earnhardt Jr. served as co-pilot.
Mr. Earnhardt Jr. surprised U.S. military veteran Paul Siverson Feb. 22 by donning a Goodyear Blimp pilot uniform and taking the vet on a short ride in the Goodyear Blimp, which was in Florida to provide aerial coverage for the Daytona 500.
