CYPRESS, Calif.(Feb. 3, 2017) —Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. will increase the U.S. dealer base price list of Toyo-brand passenger, light truck and commercial truck tires by up to 7 percent, effective April 1.
"Rising raw material costs have made it necessary for us to re-evaluate our pricing and make adjustments accordingly," said Randy Gaetz, senior vice president of sales.
"As always, we remain committed to providing excellent service and quality for our dealers and consumers."
Toyo becomes the eighth U.S.-based tire maker or importer to have announced price increases publicly for 2017.
The others are: Bridgestone Americas; Carlstar Group; Dynamic Tire (Sailun brand); Goodyear; Michelin North America Inc.; Sumitomo Rubber North America (Falken and Ohtsu brands); and Yokohama Tire Corp.
