Rotary adding wheel service equipment line

MADISON, Ind. (Jan. 24, 2017) — Dover Corp.'s Vehicle Service Group (VSG) is launching a full line of Rotary-branded wheel service equipment, including tire changers, wheel balancers and alignment equipment.

"Shops have trusted Rotary for more than 90 years," said Rob Dabrowski, vice president of wheel service equipment for VSG, parent of the Rotary brand best known as a supplier of vehicle lifts.

"We know that technicians work most efficiently when they have the right equipment for the job," Mr. Dabrowski said. "Like our vehicle lifts, Rotary wheel service equipment…is manufactured to the highest standards and includes the productivity and safety features shops need to get jobs done right."

VSG is manufacturing the new equipment line in Italy at the facilities of its Ravaglioli S.p.A. subsidiary, which VSG acquired last year.

VSG has not disclosed pricing information as yet. The company plans to debut the new equipment range at the National Automotive Dealers Association convention Jan. 27-29 in New Orleans.

VSG said the new Rotary Wheel Service Equipment is designed to be fast and easy-to-use to maximize technician productivity.

The tire changer line includes leverless, tilt-back and swing-arm versions, as well as truck tire versions.

The balancer line comprises five versions, include one 2D and two 3D models, as well as a hand-spin and truck model.

The alignment line consists of four models, three for cars/light trucks and one for heavier commercial vehicles. All feature Bluetooth communication.

Rotary was founded in 1925 by the inventor of the first automotive hydraulic lift and now offers a broad line of lifts and wheel service equipment for use in professional automotive service, commercial truck and transit applications.

Rotary is a VSG brand; VSG in turn is active in vehicle service industry with 10 major vehicle lifting and collision repair brands: Rotary, Chief, Forward, Direct-Lift, Revolution, Hanmecson, Ravaglioli, Elektron, Blitz and Nogra.
