BETHESDA, Md. (Jan. 18, 2017) — The Auto Care Association (ACA) and U.S. Department of Commerce will host a webinar Feb. 23 highlighting automotive industry business opportunities in Colombia.
The webinar, set for 2 p.m. Feb. 23, will include presentations from U.S. Commerical Services automotive industry professionals and provide details on Colombia's country profile, market information and best prospects.
Participants will have the chance to ask questions relative to their interests, and gather more information about the ACA trade mission to Colombia, taking place June 7-8.
The ACA's trade missions are a part of the Market Development Cooperator Program (MDCP) award the association received from the U.S. Department of Commerce to help the automotive industry increase exports to free-trade-agreement partners in Latin America.
The U.S. is Colombia's largest trading partner, the ACA said, without offering any trade data.
The U.S.-Colombia Free Trade Agreement (FTA) offers low- or zero-tariff rates on merchandise, increases transparency, improves the business environment and reduces market access barriers.
There is no fee for the seminar, but registration is required and should be made online.
