OKLAHOMA CITY (Dec. 28, 2016) — Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores opened nine travel stops in the past few weeks, including five in one day, on Dec. 15.
The new travel stops are in Norfolk, Neb.; South Jacksonville, Ill.; New London, Mo.; Cayce, S.C.; Ellsworth and Floyd, Iowa; Crescent, Okla.; White House, Tenn.; and Domino, Texas.
The openings bring to 46 the number of travel stops opened in 2016 and expand Love's network of travel stops to 409 in 40 states.
Five of the nine new locations — those in Ellsworth, Cayce, New London, White House and Domino — have a Love's Truck Tire Care facility on site.
Love's is marking seven of the openings with charitable donations, including:
- $2,000 to the Norfolk (Neb.) Family YMCA;
- $2,000 to the Four Rivers Special Education District near South Jacksonville;
- $2,000 to the Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri (New London);
- $2,000 to Crescent (Okla.) Public Schools;
- $2,000 to the Atlanta Independent School District (Domino); and
- undisclosed amounts to White House High School and White House Heritage; and South High Pride Booster Club and Special Olympics Iowa (Ellsworth)
With these openings, Love's footprint in these selected states now stands at: Iowa, 7; Missouri, 15; Nebraska, 5; South Carolina, 8; Tennessee, 13; and Texas, 59.
