NOKIA, Finland (Dec. 21, 2016) — Nokian Tyres P.L.C. has appointed Andrei Pantiouikhov, general manager of its Russian operations, as its interim president and CEO to fill the position being vacated by Ari Lehtoranta.
Mr. Pantioukhov, who's been with Nokian since 2004, will continue as general manager, Russian operations, in addition to the new interim role. He has been a member of management since 2009 and executive vice president since the beginning of 2016.
Mr. Lehtoranta resigned his position Sept. 26 to pursue new opportunities outside of Nokian Tyres. He was hired in September 2014 to be the company's top executive.
He is moving to Caverion Corp., a Helsinki, Finland-based construction company specialized in designing, building and operating energy-efficient solutions for buildings, industries and infrastructures in Northern, Central and Eastern Europe.
