Speedco updates its mobile app

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Dec. 8, 2016) — Bridgestone Americas Inc.'s Speedco Inc. subsidiary has updated its mobile app for its trucking customers.

Speedco, an on-highway provider of quick lube services and tires for the commercial trucking industry, said its app serves as “a convenient tool” for drivers of large diesel trucks (Class 6-8) to quickly locate Speedco locations along their driving route.

Recent enhancements to the app have come as a direct result of feedback received through customer surveys and reviews, the company said. They include:

• Up-do-date weather forecasts;

• Information on the closest Speedco locations, with en route proximity notifications;

• Detailed store information, including hours and services;

• Current Speedco promotions; and

• Tap-to-dial number links for convenience.

The Speedco mobile app is available for Android and iOS devices, and drivers can download the app in the iTunes and Google Play stores.

“We believe it is our job at Speedco to keep our customers productive and moving,” said Speedco President Chris Ripani.

“Providing them with a first-rate mobile app helps us show them that we value their time. The redesign of the Speedco mobile app gives us a platform to continue to build out features and functionality that drivers need.”
