PHILADELPHIA (Dec. 1, 2016) — Automotive repair software solutions provider Bolt On Technology has partnered with Scott Systems and MAM Software Inc. to bring mobile capabilities to their MaxxTraxx and Vast point-of-sale software solutions, respectively.
The new integrations will help automotive repair shop owners boost efficiency, look more professional and increase revenue by making the two shop management systems compatible with Bolt On's Mobile Manager Pro app on Android-enabled tablets, the firm said.
Using Mobile Manager Pro, shops will be able to take photos of needed repairs for inspections and send the results to customers via text message, while service advisors will be able to communicate with technicians by using a team chat feature built into the tablets and computers.
Shop owners can use the app to improve profitability through advanced scheduling of oil change and other maintenance services. Lube Sticker Pro enables auto shops to customize oil change intervals and dates based on the type of oil and customer's driving habits, respectively, as well as OE guidelines.
“This integration adds a new layer of productivity to shops running these systems,” said Mike Risich, founder and CEO of Bolt On. “Now MaxxTraxx and VAST shops can send and receive text messages from customers, perform multi-point digital vehicle inspections and communicate with the rest of the staff using Team Chat.”
