BROOKLYN, N.Y. (Nov. 16, 2016) — Kenda Tire U.S.A. Inc. and the Brooklyn Nets have entered into a multi-year deal that will make Kenda the official partner of the Brooklyn Nets through the end of the 2017-18 National Basketball Association (NBA) season.
Kenda also said it plans to connect the sponsorship with local distributor Max Finkelstein Inc. by providing additional brand exposure and retail activation for the Kenda Traction Dealer network.
Through its agreement with the Nets, Kenda will receive corporate sponsor status which includes use of Nets marketing right, TV-visible branded signage and hospitality.
Kenda also will sponsor a Jeremy Lin bobble head night.
“We are excited to announce our sponsorship with the Brooklyn Nets,” Kenda President Jimmy Yang said in a news release. “The NBA and the Nets organization along with Jeremy Lin have a strong image and presence in the Metro New York area and Asian market. This will help us connect our brand not only in America, but across the globe to our Global Headquarters in Taiwan.”
Columbus, Ohio-based Kenda previously partnered with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
