HORSHAM, Pa. (Nov. 14, 2016) — An advertising industry collaboration has honored Cottman Transmission and Total Auto Care with a Summit International Marketing Effectiveness Award for its Cottman Man Educational Video Series.
The Cottman video series earned a Summit Platinum Award, which recognizes outstanding marketing efforts to change, influence, or reinforce a target audience's knowledge, attitudes or beliefs, Cottman said.
The videos provide tips on topics relating to car care, such how to address annual car service needs, routine maintenance and road trip precautions. Each of the animated videos is 55 seconds or less in length and includes easy-to-follow guidelines that help viewers confidently care fore their vehicles.
“We are honored to receive such a prestigious designation for our Cottman Man Educational Video Series,” Derik Beck, vice president of digital marketing for Cottman Transmission, said in a news release.
“We understand that not all of our guests have the time to bring their car into our shops for every issue. We decided to educate them whether the problem is small or serious. To be recognized for this additional outreach brings pride to our entire team.”
