MONROE, Mich. (Nov. 11, 2016) — Tenneco Inc. will expand its Expert Plus dealer loyalty program in 2017 with a variety of additional business tools and member rewards, with open enrollment beginning Dec. 1.
The company previewed its enhanced program at the recent Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas.
The Expert Plus program — designed to help members grow service volume through high-impact consumer and trade promotions, preferred customer discounts and other resources — is available to any vehicle maintenance and repair businesses that rely on Monroe ride control or Walker emissions control products, Tenneco said. Expert Plus membership for 2017 costs $119.
Enrollees in the 2017 program will receive an “extensive program activation package,” according to Tenneco, featuring a “new shock” vs. “worn shock” interactive simulation display that highlights the Monroe brand's new “Feel the Difference Guarantee” trial offer.
Other program features include the “Feel the Difference” counter mat, table tend and sales literature; a preferred consumer coupon book with 10 money-saving offers on Monroe and Walker products; and the Monroe Ride Height Reference Guide on a USB drive, the company said.
Members who sign up for the combined Monroe and Walker Expert Plus package also will receive a metal tacker sign highlighting Walker's QuietFlow SS stainless steel premium mufflers and assemblies.
In addition, all 2017 program members will receive access to Tenneco's expanded Experts Learning Center eLearning portal and will be awarded points they can apply toward the Expert Plus rewards program. Other benefits include enrollment in the Monroe and Walker Dealer Locator consumer search tools at www.monroe.com and www.walkerexhaust.com, end-tab redemption rewards and free downloads of Tenneco's ERIS electronic catalog of emissions control systems and ride control components.
To encourage early enrollment, Tenneco said it is offering a “Twin Win” sweepstakes for service providers and warehouse distributor or jobber salespeople who facilitate their enrollment. For every membership application submitted and approved by March 31, 2017, the qualifying WD/jobber salesperson and program member each will receive one entry into a drawing for a grand prize of 20,000 Expert Plus points and four finalist prizes of 15,000 points.
“Tens of thousands of vehicle service businesses have benefited from Expert Plus over the past 19 years, and we're confident we will attract a record number of new members for 2017,” said Jeff Koviak, Tenneco's vice president and general manager, North America Aftermarket. “This popular program is another key advantage of partnering with Tenneco and the Monroe and Walker brands.”
