TreadWright has expanded its all-terrain/mud-terrain Claw Series offerings with two new sizes — 235/85/16 and 235/80/17.

HOUSTON (Nov. 11, 2016) — Light-truck tire retreader TreadWright Inc. has expanded its all-terrain/mud-terrain Claw Series offerings with two new sizes — 235/85/16 and 235/80/17 — fit for Toyota Tacoma and Tundra models.

The Claw series, produced at TreadWright's plant in Houston, employs the company's signature green manufacturing process and now features an outer sidewall design that has a more rugged look, according to TreadWright. The tire is designed with an aggressive tread for off-road terrain challenges such as mud, gravel or snow.

Price per tire begins at $124.99, the company said.

“The Claw Series has been one of our most popular line of tires,” TreadWright CEO Anthony Showen said in a news release. “Combining an aggressive tread design capable of handling any terrain, with smart design features that increases drivability of paved roads, the Claw is a true multi-use tire. The new sizes mean that more customers and more trucks can take advantage of our best-selling Claw series.”

The tires are backed by a two-year workmanship warranty against manufacturing defect and are offered with an optional 24-month road hazard warranty certificate that covers unforeseen road conditions, including potholes, nails, debris or impact with foreign objects.

Each TreadWright retread requires six gallons of oil to produce, compared with 18 gallons required to produce a new tire, the company said.

More information about these tires and other TreadWright products is available online.
