INDIANAPOLIS (Nov. 4, 2016) — Continental Tire the Americas L.L.C.'s BestDrive L.L.C. subsidiary has opened a commercial tire and service center in Indianapolis, marking its 20th outlet nationwide.
The 18,000-sq.-ft. leased facility is located on the north side of Indianapolis between the U.S. 42 and U.S. 421 exits on I-465, BestDrive said, and will allow the firm to continue offering premium products and services to existing customers in Indianapolis while also bringing in new fleet customers.
According to a spokeswoman for BestDrive, the location most recently was a trucking company's terminal and headquarters.
“Indianapolis is a major transit hub in the Midwest, through which many of our existing customers travel,” said Glen Carson, BestDrive director of retail for the Americas.
“BestDrive commits to helping all fleets optimize their driving costs through premium products and services. We are excited to bring the BestDrive brand to Indianapolis and introduce our products and services to the local fleet market, helping them to operate more efficiently.”
Continental launched the BestDrive business in early 2015 in large part to improve the acceptance of and expand distribution of its ContiTread retread product line.
The firm announced the opening of its 19th commercial tire center — a 27,639-sq.-ft. facility in Grove City, Ohio — last month.
