INDUSTRY, Calif. (Oct. 25, 2016) — Aftermarket brake and chassis components maker Centric Parts has introduced a comprehensive program of StopTech brake kits and components for the Mazda MX-5 Miata, model years 1989 through 2016.
Centric said the kits cover all model year Miata/MX-5 variations and are designed to supplement its range of OE replacement parts.
Kit options vary depending on engine size and rear brake selection, Centric said. Each kit includes two-piece StopTech pillar vane rotors, StopTech four-piston calipers, StopTech stainless steel lines and all necessary hardware, the firm added.
In addition to the kits, StopTech has also introduced braided stainless steel brake lines for the all-new 2016 Mazda Miata. The firm said they provide a “quicker, firmer, more consistent pedal response by reducing system compliance and maintaining consistent brake pressure.”
All kits, as well as the complete line of StopTech braking systems and components are available through authorized motorsports distributors and performance automotive aftermarket retailers, Centric said. For more information, visit CentricParts.com and StopTech.com.
