PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (Oct. 25, 2016) — TBC Corp. has hired industry veteran Jim Crandall to oversee commercial tire sales throughout the Southeast.
Mr. Crandall, who brings 27 years of industry experience to TBC, will be regional sales manager for TBC Brands.
“Jim is a valuable addition to the organization, as his experience on both the manufacturer and dealer side of the business is extensive,” said Aaron Murphy, vice president of commercial truck tire sales for TBC.
“His 20 years of working with fleets from a dealer perspective will contribute widely to servicing our TBC Brands customers and prospects.”
Mr. Crandall's primary responsibility is managing and growing sales of Sumitomo, Sailun and other truck tire products in the Southeast, TBC said.
He began his career at the Dunlop Tire & Rubber Co. in 1989, eventually managing all the sales for Dunlop's Remington brand, according to TBC.
Most recently Mr. Crandall was with MFR Best One Fleet Service and Brahler's Tire in St. Louis, where he held several positions spanning sales and management roles over the past 20 years.
