BLAINE, Minn. (Oct. 17, 2016) — Heartland Tire Service's revenue growth over the past three years earned it a spot on the Minneapolis/St Paul Business Journal's Fast 50 list of growing companies.
The annual Fast 50 award is given to the top 50 fastest-growing privately held companies in the Twin Cities. To be considered, the company must be independently owned, headquartered in the Minneapolis metropolitan area and have had year-over-year growth for each of the past three fiscal years.
Heartland Tire was ranked 6th overall for its 147.7-percent growth rate over the three-year period, with 2015 sales topping $14 million.
The dealership said in a press release that it has been growing through acquisitions and doubled its size in 2014 with acquisitions of five stores. The company now operates 12 retail stores in Minnesota and has 106 employees. It also operates a large commercial truck tire facility and retread plant.
