ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. (Oct. 12, 2016) — CNBC's “Jay Leno's Garage” is shifting into high gear for its second season premier.

The popular show will kick off six new episodes at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Nov. 9 on CNBC, featuring celebrity appearances by Vice President Joe Biden, Jerry Seinfeld, Caitlyn and Kendall Jenner, Kelly Rowland, Patrick Dempsey, Brad Paisley, NASCAR driver Joey Logano, and others. The show follows comedian and former “Tonight Show” host Jay Leno on his quest to uncover the most outrageous, spectacular and unique vehicles — and meet people who share his automobile obsession, according to the network.

In the Nov. 9 episode, Jay explores “the deep emotional connection people have with their vehicles,” according to CNBC. He meets one of Mr. Biden's greatest loves — a 1967 Corvette — then sets up a once-in-a-lifetime drag race between the vice president and former Bush Administration Secretary of State Colin Powell.

CNBC said Jay also will discover “the softer side of champion wrestler Bill Goldberg” when they take a trip in his prized pick-up, goes camping with VW Bus fanatic and comedian Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, and hits the racetrack with a premiere Ferrari collector with a “powerful backstory.”

Through these encounters, CNBC said Jay “discovers just how much a car can mean to its owner.”

The series explores Americans' obsession with all things automotive — from classic cars to supercars and everything in-between, the network said, noting that each one-hour themed episode features a mix of stunts, challenges, reviews and celebrity interviews showcasing the colorful history of the automobile.

“Whether he's exploring the story of an iconic brand, road-testing the newest super car, or investigating the latest automotive innovations, there is no wheel Jay won't get behind to tell the story of our love affair with the car,” CNBC said.

More information about “Jay Leno's Garage” is available on the show's website, on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

The show is produced by Original Productions, a FremantleMedia Co., and Kitten Kaboodle, with Jay Leno, Philip D. Segal, Sarah Whalen, and Jeff Bumgarner as executive producers.

CNBC's global headquarters is in Englewood Cliffs.
