    TRAVESE CITY, Mich. (Oct. 3, 2016) — Omni United (S) Pte. Ltd., through its Radar Tires brand, is continuing its support of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) by partnering with LPGA golfer Jodi Ewart Shadoff to increase visibility and awareness of this cause.

    Throughout the month of October, which is recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Ms. Ewart Shadoff, a Radar brand ambassador, will wear pink gear and use a specially designed pink golf club bag. In doing so, she is the first female golfer to publically support BCRF.

    “It is exciting and an honor for me to wear the color pink during the month of October, a symbol of hope and courage for all breast cancer patients and survivors, during the month of October, and thus support the efforts of Omni, Radar Tires and the BCRF in finding a cure for breast cancer,” Ms. Ewart Shadoff said.

    Since its launch in 2011, Omni's “Mobilizing Hope” campaign, which provided contributions to the BCRF for every tire sold, has donated more than $1 million to the research that works to find solutions to prevent and cure breast cancer.

    “Giving back is one of the corporate values upon which we have built Omni United and Radar Tires,” GS Sareen, founder and CEO, Omni United said.

    “It is one of my most cherished corporate values, less about social responsibility and more about running our company responsibly. Our partnership with the BCRF has allowed us and, indirectly, also our customers, to contribute in a meaningful way to fund research towards the prevention and cure of breast cancer, a disease that has touched so many in our communities and among the friends and families of our employees, customers, suppliers and friends,” he added.

    In addition to the donations, Omni United and Radar Tires have taken on other initiatives to spread awareness for the cause. These include:

    • launching a limited edition “pink sidewall” tire, which was sold through Sears Auto Centers;
    • encouraging customers, tire distributors, dealers and retailers worldwide, to support the Mobilizing Hope campaign by providing in-store displays, pink ribbons and other awareness materials to distribute among customers;
    • displaying the logo of the BCRF on all Radar Tires motorsports teams racing cars and gear; and
    • supporting the BCRF in all international tire fairs and other events in which Omni and Radar Tires participate.

    Radar Tires, which are available at more than 15,000 dealers across the U.S., have a distinct labeling identifying the product as supportive of BCRF. This label is included on some of the brand's most popular tires such as Dimax R8+, Dimax AS 8, Renegade A/T 5 and Renegade R7 M/T.
