WASHINGTON (Sept. 13, 2016) — Nissan North America Inc. is recalling 120,329 Nissan Maxima sedans, Nissan Murano SUVs and Nissan Murano Hybrid SUVs because of possible brake fluid leaks that could cause vehicle fires.
The specific vehicles are 2016-2017 four-door Nissan Maximas manufactured between Feb. 10, 2015 and Aug. 19, 2016; 2015-2017 four-door Nissan Muranos manufactured between Aug. 22, 2014 and Aug. 19, 2016; and 2015-2016 Nissan Murano hybrids manufactured between Aug. 22, 2014 and July 19, 2016, according to a safety recall report issued Aug. 31 by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
All of the recalled vehicles are equipped with Intelligent Cruise Control systems, NHTSA said.
