HOUSTON (Aug. 24, 2016) — The Automotive Service Association (ASA) and ASA-Texas will co-sponsor the third annual ASA Safety Inspection Forum in Houston Oct. 19.
Jade Winfree, senior analyst at the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), and Jojo Heselmeyer, senior manager of the Compliance & Enforcement Service of the Texas Department of Public Safety, will be the main speakers at the forum, according to the ASA.
Ms. Winfree will present the findings of the GAO's 2015 study on state vehicle safety inspection programs, and Ms. Heselmeyer will share her experiences with the Texas vehicle safety inspection programs, the association said.
The forum will take place at San Jacinto College in the Houston suburb of Deer Park, Texas, the ASA said.
