LONG BEACH, Calif. (Aug. 10, 2016) — Denso Products and Services Americas Inc. has hired Yijun “Henry” Peng to be general manager of its remanufacturing operations in Murrieta and Long Beach, Calif.
In his new role, Mr. Peng will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the remanufacturing business as well as an expansion that, according to the company, will help Denso meet North America's growing market demand for remanufactured products. Mr. Peng brings 15 years of automotive and financial industries experience to his new position.
According to Denso, his expertise in remanufacturing includes aftermarket operations business development, supply chain management and strategic sourcing and planning. He previously was a manager with diesel engine manufacturer Cummins Inc., where he was responsible for procurement, contracts, supplier readiness, compliance and process improvement.
Prior to that, he served as a senior consultant for both PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte L.L.P.
Mr. Peng said he looks forward “to leading our teams to grow Denso's aftermarket presence by expanding the supply and selection of superior reman products to customers throughout North America.”
He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, Bloomington, where he specialized in supply chain management and finance. He earned his Bachelor of Accounting from the Nanjing University School of Business in China.
Mr. Peng joined Denso Products and Services Americas' Murrieta operation Aug. 1.
