FORT MILL, S.C. (July 27, 2016) — Continental Tire the Americas L.L.C.'s Tim Rogers was recognized recently as CFO of the Year in the large business category by the Charlotte Business Journal.
Mr. Rogers is vice president of finance for Continental Tire and vice president and treasurer for the company's Continental Automotive Inc. unit.
“The success of our business and success of our finance team at Continental is based on the fact that we are passionate about what we do,” Mr. Rogers said.
According to Continental, Mr. Rogers has more than 13 years' experience in the company's financial sectors and has played a key role in investments made throughout the Americas' region. These include a $500 million tire manufacturing facility in South Carolina and the announced $1.4 billion investment in a greenfield tire plant in Mississippi.
