SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (July 25, 2016) — Discount Tire/America's Tire opened four retail stores in the past few months, pushing the Scottsdale-based retailer past the 920-store mark nationwide.
The new stores are in Rhonert Park, Calif.; Dubuque, Iowa; Columbus, Ohio; and Florence, S.C. All are states where Discount Tire already was doing business.
The outlet in Rohnert Park — operating under the company's America's Tire signage — is its second store in Sonoma County and 132nd in the Golden State. Located near the intersection of California Highway 101 and Rohnert Park Expressway, the location features six service bays, according to a photo on Discount Tire's website.
The store in Columbus is Discount Tire's third in the city, eighth in the Columbus metro area and 19th in the Buckeye State. The six-bay outlet is on the far eastern edge of Columbus proper.
The store in Florence is the retailer's first in that city and 11th in the Palmetto State. It features a six-bay layout with a natural stone exterior.
The store in Dubuque is the dealership's first in that city and sixth in the Hawkeye State. It's also a six-bay store design.
All Discount Tire/America's Tire stores are open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
Discount Tire/America's Tire — the dba's of Reinalt-Thomas Corp. — is the largest independently owned tire retail dealership in the U.S., with 921 stores in 31 states.
The company reported $4.32 billion in sales in fiscal 2014, including revenue from its online business.
