LEWISVILLE, Texas (July 19, 2016) — Hayden Automotive has released internal pressure by-pass coolers designed to allow a vehicle's transmission to reach optimum operating temperature quickly.
The product works by routing the fluid around the by-pass channel of the cooler until the fluid temperature increases, Hayden said.
“The patented design of Hayden pressure by-pass coolers help vehicles in colder climates reach proper operating temperatures faster, which improves fuel economy and helps reduce friction of internal components,” said Ron Miller, product and marketing manager of specialty products, Hayden Automotive. “Hayden's internal pressure by-pass design incorporates an integrated valve that eliminates the need for external valves and additional plumbing at installation.”
The Hayden by-pass series is available in four sizes (Part No. 696, 697, 698 and 699) is designed to fit a wide range of applications, from compact cars to class “A” motor homes, the company said.
The cooler brackets come pre-drilled for easy mounting and include all hardware necessary for installation, according to Hayden. All coolers are 100-percent pressure tested at the factory.
