MERRIMACK, N.H. (July 13, 2016) — The newest updates to ASA Automotive Systems Inc.'s TireMaster and TireMaster Enterprise software allow independent tire dealers and auto service shops to create and schedule text message and email alerts to support their operations.
Alerts that can be scheduled, according to ASA, include:
- Appointment confirmations to reduce no-shows;
- Car “ready for pickup” alerts to improve turnover;
- Reminders to reschedule missed appointments; and
- Special offers for previously declined services.
According to ASA — formerly ASA Tire Systems — customers prefer text messaging as a form of communication because it's instantaneous, cost-effective and unobtrusive.
“TireMaster software users tell us that many of their customers prefer being contacted by text about appointments,” said Ken Halle, president of ASA Automotive.
“A number of our customers are moving their mobile communication to the next level, taking advantage of the features in TireMaster that make it easier and less costly to send targeted promotions, coupons and special offers.”
