ZC Rubber Chairman Shen Jinrong addresses those attending the first anniversary of the firm's tire plant in Rayong, Thailand.

RAYONG, Thailand (June 21, 2016) — Zhongce Rubber (Thailand) Co. Ltd. continues to ramp up production of car and truck tires at its year-old factory in Rayong toward the plant's designated capacities, the company's top executives told visitors attending the plant's first anniversary celebration.

The factory is rated at 4.2 million passenger and light truck tradials and 700,000 truck/bus radials and has 2,500 employees, according to parent Zhongce Rubber Group Co. Ltd. of China.

The 6.1 million-sq.ft. plant opened last June with production for passenger and light truck tires; radial truck tire production began in December.

ZC Rubber (Thailand) hosted customers from throughout Southeast Asia recently to mark the plant's anniversary.

“It is a milestone to take the first step of globalization for ZC Rubber on the production,” ZC Rubber President Shen Jinrong said. “At present, the factory operates in a virtuous circle and the second phase of factory project is under way.”

ZC Rubbber said it is shipping tires from the plant to customers worldwide as well as supplying local demand.

“We expect that the expansion capacity will further improve competitiveness on the market,” Mr. Shen said, “by extension, can expand market share in the Southeast Asian regions.”

Zhongce Rubber goes to market with the Arisun, Chaoyang, Goodride, Trazano and Westlake brands.
