PHOENIX (June 9, 2016) — 2015 was a positive year for TBC Corp.'s Big O Tires unit, as the franchise group reported gains in the number of franchisees, stores, retail tire and service sales and customers served.
The Big O Tires management team shared these performance parameters recently with more than 700 Big O franchise owners, managers, corporate associates and suppliers at the group's annual convention in Phoenix.
The convention's theme, Get Your Motor Running, was central to nearly every presentation throughout the three-day event.
During 2015, TBC welcomed six new franchisees into the Big O network and noted a net gain of 14 Big O locations throughout the year.
Overall, the Big O network collectively reported 5.5-percent better retail sales last year vs. 2014, the company said, with tire unit sales up 3.3 percent and same-store service sales up 6 percent. The network — which now stands at 391 stores — reported a 3.1-percent in car count.
