Raybestos teamed up with world-renowned Schwartz Performance to restore the Raybestos 1969 Mustang.

MCHENRY, Ill. (June 1, 2016) — Brake Parts Inc.'s Raybestos brand has launched a “Rev Up Your Walls” promotion, giving those who purchase its '69 Mustang Kit (36-MUSTANGTT) between now and July 17 a chance to win the newly restored 1969 Raybestos Mustang.

“With the ‘Rev Up Your Walls' promotion, not only will customers get cool Mustang signage for their shop, but they will also receive an entry into the Raybestos '69 Mustang Sweepstakes for a chance to win the truly outrageous Raybestos '69 Mustang,” said Kristin Grons, marketing manager for Brake Parts Inc. “With the popularity of our custom-built Mustang, these kits won't be around for long.”

Those interested in participating should purchase the '69 Mustang Kit while supplies last, the firm said.

The kit includes a limited edition Raybestos Mustang tin tacker sign, a commemorative Raybestos Mustang poster and one entry card into the Raybestos '69 Mustang Sweepstakes. The winner of the sweepstakes will drive away in a one-of-a-kind Mustang featuring Raybestos' Element3 brake pads with Enhanced Hybrid Technology.

The Raybestos Mustang is painted in classic colors and striping that are true to the time period, Brake Parts said, and features a Ford Coyote engine similar to that found in the modern Boss 302.

Schwartz Performance installed its “G-Machine” bolt-in chassis and an off-the-shelf performance disc brake upgrade package, using Raybestos components. To see the build progress of the Raybestos '69 Mustang Fastback, visit www.RaybestosBuild.com.
